🌟 Logistics & Details

Q: What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

A: The wedding is dressy casual with comfortable shoes suggested for dancing and the outdoor ceremony. (The ceremony may hold some unexpected surprises that you’ll want your dancing shoes on for!) If we had to choose a theme it would be rustic, nature based and bohemian.

Q: What’s the weather like that time of year?

A: Average August temperatures in Ann Arbor, Michigan is a high of 82 with a low of 59.

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

A: The ceremony will be held outside weather permitting and the reception will be held indoors in a lovely air conditioned loft.

Q: Will there be a golf cart available for those with mobility issues?

A: Yes! There will be two golf carts on site for folks who may need a ride from parking or camping to the ceremony site or from the ceremony site to the reception loft, etc.

Q: Can I bring a date? / Is my plus one invited?

A: We’ve worked hard to keep our guest list cozy, so please check your invitation for details.

Q: Are kids invited?

A: We love your little ones, but we’re keeping this celebration adults-only — we hope you enjoy a night off!

Q: May I bring my dog?

A: Sorry for any inconvenience but please leave all pets at home. If you have a service animal please get in touch with us.

Q: May we film or take pictures during the ceremony?

A: We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during our ceremony—your heart and presence means the most to us. But once the reception and dancing starts, take video & snap away like paparazzi!

Q: When should I RSVP by?

A: Please RSVP by July 11 via this website or text to Miko or Jim.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: The ceremony will begin at 4pm promptly. Please arrive by 3:30pm. If you’re camping you can arrive as early as noon.


🍽️ Food & Drink

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

A: There will be a scrumptious dinner buffet with beverages as well as a cocktail hour. See the home page for more details.

Q: Are there raw vegan/vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?

A: Yes! Please let us know on your RSVP form so we know how much to make.

Q: Will there be alcohol?

A: Yes, the bar will provide beer & wine, & specialty cocktails, as well as natural sodas, juice spritzers & fruited water.

Q: Are you registered? Where?

A: Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. If you would like to honor us with a gift, a contribution toward our future plans together would be deeply appreciated. ✈️ Travel & Accommodations

Q: Where should I stay?

A: There are numerous places to stay in the Ann Arbor area. The wedding site is within 15 minutes of many. Additionally, on-site camping is available. For those of you who like the idea of staying late for the festivities and would rather not drive home or to a hotel, we have made available the option to camp on the land. Please see the link on the homepage for more details.

Q: Are there any wedding-related events I should know about?

A: If you are a part of the wedding party a ceremony rehearsal is happening on Friday evening around 7pm. We’ll be in touch about this.

Q: Will there be a DJ?

A: Yes! And….we are asking our friends to help us curate the best wedding dance songs playlist ever! As much as you are inspired please message us with a few or a whole list of your favorite tunes, nostalgic or otherwise, from all eras & genre's with an emphasis on love & romance & great songs for dancing!

Q: Will there be live music?

A: Yes! You can expect to hear poignant songs from our amazing family after dinner.

Dear friends, we kindly ask that the ceremony not be filmed, and that no cameras be out during the ceremony. However, during the reception feel free to take all the photos or video that you desire!
*Reminder: The wedding is being held on private property where animals & children live. Please be mindful when driving in to keep it to 10 mph as you follow signs to the parking area. Thank you!
